Tests
have been performed by Ecoscience and the Australian Government
Analytical laboratories showing that the Coolaway filter candle removes
from water at least 97% of chlorine, iron, copper, lead, manganese,
zinc, mercury, aluminium, lindane, dieldrin, chloroform, bacteria and
other organic compounds. It removes 86% of cadmium.
